If you are looking for a quality puppy, whose parents have health clearances, will be raised in the house & well socialized, already have not one but two or more sets of their puppy shots (this can save you lots of money at the vet), be dewormed, be microchipped, be introduced to a crate, to cats & riding in the car, have dew claws removed and heart vet checked before they leave, then please give us a call and schedule a visit. However, if you are bargain shopping and/or you do not care about health clearances on the parents, then please call someone else.

There are plenty of cheap puppies in the newspaper or elsewhere everyday and if you are short sighted enough not to realize that you will pay later in vet bills and broken hearts then I cannot help you. Many people call who say they want all the quality, but do not want to pay for it and it just does not work that way. Others claim they cannot afford a quality dog, but cannot grasp that one of lesser quality will cost much more over the long run. If I actually charged for all the health testing and time I put into every litter they would be much more expensive. I do this because I love the breed. If everyone felt this way there would be less health issues and animal abuse in the world. I may not have what you are looking for, but please find someone who is truly reputable to buy from instead of supporting those who only hurt the breed, like the puppy mills and back yard breeders. (Some puppy mills can be expensive to give the illusion that they have quality, so be careful.) If you truly cannot afford a quality Labrador then you really should look at another breed with less health issues.

With the large amount of time I spend caring for and beginning to train my puppies, I have to be sure the timing is just right before breeding. People who buy my puppies rarely take home a puppy who cries at night or doesn't sleep through the night right away or doesn't house break easily, if they follow my instructions. People who buy my puppies feel that the time I put into my puppies and the health precautions I take are worth paying for. There are many breeders who sale puppies for as much or more than I do that do not put the time and effort in that I do. Be sure to find one who does, because they are out there!
